It's a great experience. ~ Len Dalberg ~ We've had some great meetings lately. You are missing out if you are not attending. Congratulations to Richard Shawcroft on receiving the Paul Harris Award. Richard is truly a great Rotarian and sets the standard and example for all of us to follow. He was somewhat emotional in his acceptance of the award, giving the proper credit to and the importance of the award. In the last two weeks we have honored eight high school scholarship award winners. Certainly last weeks presentation made by Jeff Little and Jeff Cotter were the best in my memory with the recipients receiving a well deserved standing ovation. Thank you to all those who helped in the selection process. Your choices showed your dedication to the job. Your all awesome, and remember, "It Can Be Done" and to "Sow the Seeds of Love" Your President for four more meetings, but who's counting. ~ Butch ~ It is my choice whether to respond or react to any situation. If I react, chances are the final outcome will be negative and leave me in a drained and depressed state. Reacting does not allow the opportunity for clear thinking. If I respond, I will find myself moving forward and making positive things happen. The most exciting fact in all of this is that it is my choice, and by choosing wisely I can affect positively the outcome of any situation. ~ ~ Wednesday, June 4, 2003 @ 12:10 pm Lara Van Enoo & Darin Simmons will speak on nutrition and exercise.
